Ok I promised Colin I'd show this on my blog. Let me ask you all, how often is it that you find Colin putting smiley faces when he texts you? The answer would most probably be never. BUT! There were 2 exceptions. Here they are:

Anyway, youth camp's this Monday already! It's so soon, the holidays are passing too quickly for my liking... But speaking of camp anyway, I really like my group, I think they're awesome, all 8 of them. Angie, Isabel, Esther, Nelson, Keith, Kenny, Jaryl, Samuel. Yeah.

Today was the combined CFC service with Irene Ang, and it was super great(: Then we had the post-party afterwards.

Tomorrow's the full-dress rehearsal at O school. I'm excited. Then there'll be the church leaders' conference thing at night followed by going home to pack for camp. Once again, I'm excited!

If there was a reality show that I could choose to go for, I'd pick the Amazing Race. It does look really fun actually and I feel rather inclined towards it. If anyone shares my opinion on this, tell me and we'll go sign up together someday.

Anyway, I wish I had a little bit more time. Free time, I mean. I'm not complaining or anything, but really I'd like to be able to meet up with lots of friends that I wanna spend more time with but haven't had the chance to yet. The list is quite long, actually. Judith, Nic, Shuli, Rach, Bins, Bel, Shenna, to name a few cos I really haven't seen them in such a long time.

Today's dance rehearsal at O school was great as usual, I've grown to be quite fond of the dancers in the same segment as me(:

Classic, isn't it? Ok at least I find it funny. Well that aside it's been a pretty eventful week. Let me try to summarise it from Monday...

Monday
Woke up early to study(: After that was project D lessons all the way till night, until around 9.10 actually. After that, I went for dinner at KFC with Susu which was quite interesting. Haha cos they were supposed to close at 10pm, but we just walked in merrily at 9.40 and ordered a buddy meal and sat there eating until we were the only ones left. We got out of there at 10.15 maybe.

Tuesday
I finally met Susu at Bukit Panjang Plaza during lunchtime to study. We bought sushi and then went to Starbucks, ordered drinks and discreetly ate the sushi there. It was quite fun/funny actually(: After that we went walking around and we saw this shop selling a lot of mangas, but it was in Jap. BUT I MANAGED TO FIND INUYASHA! I CAN RECOGNISE THE WORDS EVEN IF THEY'RE NOT IN ENGLISH(: So I'm gonna go find copies in English and get them(: We also went to the library there and searched for Inuyasha mangas, but they weren't available there and most of the others were on loan anyway. So we just settled for the children's section with all the folk and fairytale books and actually read them. And took lots of pictures while blocking up the whole entire aisle. Then we had chocolate fondue with fruit, marshmallows and biscuits or something. I had to rush off after that already cos I was gonna watch a play put up by the LaSalle musical theatre students with my mom and sis. But we went early first to Sim Lim Square and I got a silver ipod classic(: Why? So I can play videos (I bet you all can guess it'll be Inuyasha and dance vids) and my mom agreed to it cos she wants my nano one. Even as I'm blogging I'm downloading Inuyasha episodes right now.

Wednesday
Woke up early again to study, then headed to church for project D class followed by prayer. After that, I met up with my awesome commando group for YM camp to discuss our showcase(: They are hilarious, and the group dynamics are quite interesting, I would say, haha. I'm quite excited for it actually, I think it'll be good. After that, had recital practice at O school from 9.15 to 11.30. I think that was one of the most fun practices I've been to there, we couldn't stop laughing for the first part of the rehearsal.

I think my posts are too long. If you've actually read this whole thing word-for-word, you can let me know (again) and I'll congratulate you or something. A pat on the back. I don't know.

Hello friends, this is the shoutout post for all of you(: Yeah yeah, but that'll come later on at the end of this. This post will be really long.

So I've been rather MIA for the past two days or so. Why? Cos I'm injured. Haaa. It happened during dance on wednesday in church. I couldn't even move when I first felt the pain, and being someone who's had quite a lot of incidents with pain, that speaks for quite a bit. My dad (yes he's a doctor) said that it's the nerve at the back of my neck. Something about my muscles being too fatigued and tense that they hit the nerve there or something when I was dancing halfway. But for all who prayed and messaged, thank you(:

However, I guess it's a good thing as well in a way. At least I get time off everything to just relax at home (and Inuyasha marathon, hee!), so praise God for that still.

Whew, things have been pretty hectic lately. Let me summarise.

Ascension. Haha of course, who could not blog about that, right? Honestly, if you want a good idea of what we did for every few minutes, go see Sulynn's blog. I'll attempt to sum it up here really briefly:

Saturday
Fall in, layout equipment (over and over again), lots of pumping positions (most memorable was when we stayed there for 5 minutes), run to car park, sleep (for about an hour)

Sunday
Woke up at I don't know what time (maybe 2am?), ran here and there, changed, got blindfolded and handcuffed, went into the van, got dropped off, walked in a line still blindfolded and handcuffed, was freed, found out our first mission, put on camo paint and repellent, ran around ecp trying to be discreet (we got a few weird stares), led Grace who became blind, became blind myself and was led around by Grace, captured the flag, went for the forest trail thing (was the first pair with Shawn), reported to Lydia and Kenneth, waited for the rest, lots more push-ups and pumping positions (cos of missing det mates), marched back to church, cooked breakfast, went to ecp, debrief for previous activities.

Ahhh this was where Hosea and I left ascension for a while to go to O school for the vetting session. We bathed first of course, or others would suffer from the smell from us. And let me tell you, lots of people think dance is slack and a breeze or something. IT IS NOT, I TELL YOU. Try it sometime then let me know. (Yes, it's 3.30am when I'm typing this, so excuse my lack of tact)

Went back to church, delayed in the office, went back down to the patio, went to thanksgiving hall, set up for service in 30 mins (included stage set-up, sound check, music practice, etc), prayer meeting/service, put hall back to original set-up, fall in, get ready to sleep, slept for I'm not sure how short.

Monday
Woke up around 3am I think, fall in, more pumping positions and push-ups, got briefed on next mission (I was in delta), got ready, ran to ecp, planned and strategized, filled up water bombs, put on camo and ponchos, went to allocated area with Chloe (this forested area where we sat in silence amonst many many plants drenched in sweat for 30 mins), followed alpha force when they came, helped to defend our flag, fall in and debrief, march back to church, clean up most of level one and the staircase (who could forget about neat shoe arrangement?), breakfast, fall in, layout equipment, dismissal. Yeah I've typed out everything in a very systematic order. It'll be waaaay too long if I added in the details. But really, ascension was so worth it. I've gained a new level of respect for my fellow project D mates, and learnt a few lessons myself too. Also, the comm (both YA and YM) was really awesome, so thank you to all of you(:

Today was the Meta BBQ, which was good in general, though there were slight bumps here and there. But the bonding was worth it, I think I got to know people better. After it was over, I went to Gelare with Kelly, Chloe and Susu and yes it was fun, and shoot shag marry was entertaining. Susu's dad dropped me off at the bus stop near my house and we (Susu and me) continued playing until I got off. Then I came home and watched INUYASHA!(:

Anyway, I've been hooked onto anime (Sean gives a shocked yelp of joy). Inuyasha, more specifically. I know I'm years late or something cos the series has been completed since a long time ago, and if Min-wei or Siew Jia ever see this they'll get flashbacks of our p6 days and say something like "Finally!" Or "I told you it was good!" Haha yes I admit it's totally awesome. My favourite character is definitely Miroku. Followed by Kagome and Naraku. Haha, surprise, huh? Naraku's smart, that's what I like about him. Kagome cos she's so selfless and Miroku just cos he's so hilarious and cos of his personality. Yeah. And I think I wanna start watching Cardcaptor Sakura too. I used to when I was in primary school, but I don't think I actually caught the full series.

-Break-

If you were wondering what that break was about, it's cos I stopped typing for quite sometime cos I was talking to ShuJing on the phone, and it was well worth the time. I think she's really really awesome and that's not just cos she's my overseer(: Haha and we agreed that we should talk more with each other.

However, when I came back to the computer, I, being so intellectual, was drinking water from this big glass bottle thing. The kind where you don't let the rim touch your mouth. I over-poured (if there's such a word), resulting in a large amount of water splattering onto my pyjamas. And all I said about that was "Oh." It's still wet. Heh. And to think I call myself a professional at the art of drinking water without touching the rim.

Must resist temptation to watch Inuyasha... And Cardcaptor Sakura.

If you're rather sharp, you may have noticed that my posts have been rather short. Yes, that was cos I was blogging at 1am while I was a-third-asleep. So now here's a proper update for the weekend(:

Saturday was great, like I said. Co-leading with Sarah is really awesome. Also, there was this daybreak MCQ test. I would say something like "I'm sad I didn't get the full marks I was aiming for", but that'll be annoying, even to me. Haha. Service was great too. Had dinner with Kelly at the youth room cos we were lazy to go out of church when we could just sit there and eat the leftover chicken rice from the afternoon.

Sunday was busy as well. BUT, the word during service was really amazing and impactful. Yes it was(: After service, I had to rush off to O school for practice, which was good as usual. But I and a few others were really tired before practice and fell asleep on/at the table while waiting for it to start. Speaking of O school, I need to go shopping to get my costume. Blue and green colours for the top. Bused back to church with Hosea after we ended and we had dance at studio which was good as well(:

So anyway today's Monday. (Duh) And I finally got to sleep in! I woke up around 1.15pm. And I've now officially started my studying and revision for school stuff. Yeah, fun. I was reading my geog textbook just now. It was chapter 8, on development of countries. And personally I find it really unfair that some countries are so needy as compared to others. I mean, they're people too. When I'm rich and successful next time, I will most definitely help out people who are in need.

Ok so I think that's all for today/now(:

And today was the second day in a row where I smeared hair conditioner on my face.

I think I'm actually losing interest in blogging yet again. But I'll try and keep this a little bit longer (Judith spasms). Anyway, here's a very quick summary of the past few days.

Sunday... Haha, I couldn't wake up for service. But it was my first time, so don't come down too hard on me! So I woke up at 12pm and went to o school for the first vetting session, which was good. After that, I headed to church with Hosea and brainstormed about dance stuff. And then it was time for studio.

Monday was dull. After school ended, I went home and wasted time. Yeah, that's about it. OHHH WAIT! At 12am that night, there was this show on the discovery channel about surviving and stuff. Then I was like, "Ascension's coming, this is useful!" Hah. No it wasn't really. But it was still really interesting to watch anyway.

Then there's today. Nothing too dramatic, but the best part of the day so far was when Rachel finally passed me the CD she had burned(: Thanks Rach! Haha. I also had an extremely hard time staying awake.

I've been listening to Radio Disney a lot recently. Thanks to Nicole and Judith. Haha! And I do agree with Jud that they repeat lots of songs. Like "Get Back", "Tell Me Something I Don't Know", "Fly On The Wall", stuff from HSM3, "That's What You Get", etc etc. I mentioned previously that I was addicted to "Sneakernight" right? Nooooo. Now it's Chicago's Cell Block Tango. With the video included. I know it's not the newest thing around, but it's awesome still.

Alright, so anyway I think I might take a nap now. Yes, at this weird time. I've been sleeping at 2am every night. Hope I can wake up for dinner later on cos Auntry Irene's coming! Exciting stuff. As in Carey's mom. Carey's my awesomest and coolest cousin who lives in London. However she's not in Singapore cos she's studying in University right now.

You know those times where there's this song you know you shouldn't like but actually do cos it's somehow so addictive? Yeah that's exactly how I feel about "Sneakernight" by Vanessa Hudgens. It's so different from her usual stuff, but it's better anyway so I won't complain. Go listen to it or something and hopefully I won't be the only insane person hooked on it.

Anyway, I'm feeling really random and my mind is thinking of rather interesting thoughts. I don't think many people who read my blog know this but I used to collect erasers when I was in primary school. And I was really crazy about them, especially pretty ones. Also, if I bothered to count, it would have added up to a few hundred easily. But I've been using them and giving some away.

So that was the introduction to let you all know my eraser background. (Hm that sounds rather strange.) Anyway I was thinking that erasers are really sad and pitiful. They allow us to use them and when we do, they lose a bit of themselves each time cos they give it away. And what do we do with those parts (eraser dust)? WE BRUSH THEM AWAY ONTO THE FLOOR OR BIN, FORGOTTEN. How sad is that? And we might stare at them a little bit more and pay slightly more attention to them if they're pretty or smell nice. But they're "just erasers", so they're forgotten really easily anyway and we move on to more exciting things in life. WHY IS THAT SO??!!?!

Yeah. Er. Hope I didn't freak anyone out, but at least I know I certainly won't freak Shuli out cos she's used to all my weird mannerisms from sitting next to me since the start of the year in school.
