Hey friends! Not-so-boring (to me) post about
disney ahead. Just a warning.
This entire post will be used by me to express my views concerning classic Disney and the modern Disney.
I think all of you will know that I fully support classic disney.I mean, come on! The
disney classics make
disney disney. They were the golden age of
disney, not the weird stuff they're showing nowadays. Not to mention I grew up watching every single one of them. All of them (yes, even Snow White...) are awesome!! Yes they are.
So today in school I made this whole list on a post-it. And proudly showed it to everyone. What was on the post-it you might ask? A WHOLE LIST OF DISNEY CLASSICS! I'm gonna re-watch every single one of them again and rate them. Fun, huh?
It was
Mulan that got me kick-started on this whole glorious thing. Obviously, out of 5 stars, I'd give it a score of infinity. Refer to my other post to find out why. And it's on my
ipod now(: I've also watched the sequel, which is still awesome, though it isn't as good as the first. Yes, I'm biased towards anything to do with
Mulan.
Then, I watched Hercules, which I'm downloading while doing this. I gave it 5 out of 5, it's always been one of my
preferred classics since I've seen it. I mean, finally we see more of a male character. Have you noticed most of the classics feature females? Well, there's Peter Pan too, but he can hardly count as a guy cos he's so under-developed. No, I'm not trying to be witty or anything.
I also watched the Little Mermaid again. The first one. 4 out of 5 stars, and that's only cos of the songs like "Under The Sea" and "Kiss The Girl". They're both highly addictive (though not as great as the songs in
Mulan). But the part that freaks me out a little is that Ariel was only 16 when the movie took place.
Anyway, this has been one whole long post about
disney classics. I guess you all can guess my new obsession.
Inuyasha's like
JB compared to
Paramore when the Disney classics step in.
King of the Rock.
